My Review: Deer PJ Pants Dupe
Alright, let’s start with how this Brandy dupe arrived. It came nicely packed in a plastic nylon bag, which kept everything intact. It had a slight chemical smell when I first opened it – nothing crazy, just that faint “fresh-from-the-factory” vibe. It was tracked the whole way, so I could keep an eye on the delivery. Bonus: I didn’t have to pay any extra taxes on it, which was a nice surprise.
Now, let’s talk about the fit. For reference, I’m usually a size S, with a 66 cm waist, and this set fits super casually, very much in line with the typical Brandy fit. I’m 165 cm (5’5”), and it sits perfectly on my waist, not too tight and not too loose. I imagine it would even work well for someone slightly taller, as it has that relaxed.
Let’s get down to what matters most: comfort. This dupe feels “cotton-ish,” which is good enough for me – it’s soft against the skin, and I’d say it gets the job done. The tag on it says “Brandy Meet,” which, honestly, cracked me up.
For the side-by-side, I paired the pants with my actual “non-dupe” Brandy McKenna lace top – just so you guys could see how they compare. There’s a bit of a color difference, with the pants leaning more towards a warm off-white and the McKenna top being a cooler white. But honestly? Both feel equally soft against the skin, with that smooth Brandy-like finish.

Thoughts on the pj pants
I am not going to write an extensive review, but here’s a little summary of each
- Little Bears pattern is on the smaller side. Perfect If your height is up to 160cm, questionable If you are taller
- Floral patterns are a bigger fit. I don’t mind them personally, I kind of like when pjs are actually cozy so it’s not a minus. Perhaps it will even shrink a bit after some washes.
- They are all consistently cotton-ish.
